Plastic surgery? I am thinking of getting plastic surgery. I would like to get a chin augmentation. I want to know what everyone thinks about that. I am getting it for myself, and no anybody else. I think it would give me more confidence.

Plastic Surgery? I had the wierdest thought. I heard in Korea, something like 50% of hte girls get plastic surgery before age 18 because for girls, being successful is all about snagging the best guy you can get. (best meaning richest). And being hott is naturally the easiest way to snag men. So my question is: All these ugly/average girls are getting surgery to become better looking, but how do the doctors know what to do? Its not exactly easy to take an ugly person and list 1 or 2 things (like a nose lift or whatever) and have them suddenly become beautiful. I mean like, with your own face, if you could have painless surgery, its not like I would know what to change. Is there some common thing that everyone gets done? Its just totally puzzling me.

My question is about the effectiveness and safety of plastic surgery. Here in Egypt plastic surgery is very cheap by American standards. A nose job that might cost $5,000 in the US wouldn't cost more than $500 in this country. I know there are risks, but they seem minimal since so many people have plastic surgery and seem happy with the results. Before I start consulting doctors or saving up or anything, my question is, is plastic surgery safe, and is it likely to give good results?

At 18 I recieved plastic surgery to remove a keeloid I had in my ear it is now 7 years later can I repierce it I have 1 ear pieced already which is my left ear. I pierced the left ear at macy's where they used a big medal gun. The right ear that got the keeloid I had pierced with a plastic gun. Shortly after my ear began to keeloid. The keeloid is gone now after plastic surgery but I am very hesitant to repierce it again after 7 years.

Plastic surgery...? I have always had low self-esteem, growing up my relatives would always call me ugly, and it really hurt me. I am thinking about getting plastic surgery, because it really would make me feel so much better about myself, but I can't convince myself that it is necessary enough that I should go through with it. I think getting breast implants is totally ridicolous because they put something IN your body but other stuff, nose job, lip plumping, botox...etc are okay, I think.
