Cosmetic Surgery For Men Knowledge Base

Cosmetic surgery for men, Most common procedure? How to find best surgeons? Pec implants? Botox costs? I am a white male forty six years old. I need freshening up. I want to look younger than I feel, at least younger than I feel I look. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botox I work out. I eat fresh fruit for breakfast I eat vegetables for lunch. I have chicken or fish for dinner. I'm FORTY-SIX years old.
Is it okay for men to have cosmetic surgery? I have to right and argument paper about whether it is okay for men to have cosmetic surgery and I wanted to have some general public statistics.
Is the increase in Cosmetic Surgery for women (and some men) a cause for concern or celebration? Now we can all get the perfect nose, women can have the breasts they dream of and men can add an inch or two in all the right places.... Are we simply lucky to be able to get body modifications of choice, or.. is the desire to modify our bodies a consequence of celebrity images that apply unreasonable pressure on normal people to aspire to images of beauty that are only truthfully obtainable with the aid of very good camerawork? Should we be concerned, or should we celebrate? Should we do a little of both?
Hey guys! Who has experience with cosmetic surgery for man-boobs? The infamous man boobs. We probably got them from our dads and grandfathers. I want to hear from a guy who has had cosmetic surgery for it, gynecomastia, enlarged breasts....whatever you want to call it. If you are hight/weight appropriate, but have some extra fat around your chest........experiences?
what do indian men and women think about cosmetic surgery in their culture? i need to find out what the indian culture thinks about western civilization using cosmetics and surgery and if they would use them or other natural products to make themselves beautiful. Need Information For Coursework In Humanities.
Plastic/cosmetic surgery what is your opinion? Men and women? What is your opinion? I was just thinking that why people are so concerned or mad about this surgery. If people don't like how they look isn't it okay to change? If people wants to have fun and look pretty, isn't it okay to change? Does this surgery causes a disease or harms people? WHy not looks good for themselves?
Why so many White women get plastic surgery? This is a serious question. White men expect their women to be flawless. If they are two pounds overweight (which according to them means underweight) They will leave them for another woman. They obsess over the pornstars with big breasts and round butts and full lips so the White woman gets cosmetic surgery, but THEN her man is caught obsessing over Asian women who have no curves whatsoever and flat chested, so maybe they resort to anorexia. Why can't White men accept their woman for their inner beauty?
Am I like the only person that finds it weird for a guy to want cosmetic surgery? I know it's not a sexist procedure but it still weirds me out to see these metrosexual guys wanting cosmetic procedures done - - okay I get it that men can have maincures, pedicures, and massages, hair products too but come on now cosmetic surgery what's next Dick implants!! I need my man a little ruff around the edges these guys are getting too soft - boarder line fairies if you ask me...
Why do women have cosmetic surgery on their genitals? I do not mean surgery that corrects a problem or is medically necessary. I mean when it is done purely for cosmetic reasons, to change the shape or size. And, for the record, I am equally puzzled by men who do the same.
Can cosmetic surgery be an effective treatment/answer for penis enlargement? Any website references? Most men want to enlarge their penis but don't know how or even contemplate having it done. I want a long penis. Can you recommend a cosmetic surgeon who has performed this procedure perfectly?
Why do homosexual men take an interest in stopping circumcision in newborn baby boys? The Parents, Family members and Family friends don't seem to take such an interest in being against circumcision as much as gay men and do take interest in more important, life-threatening issues in the care, treatment and well-being of Mother and child than gay men so why do gay men oppose a very common practice that has very few fatalities and though circumcision may be a pointless and unnecesary cosmetic amputative surgery for when there are more important issues that need taken care of and that need everybody's attention have no meaning for gay men! Why a silly cosmetic amputative surgery and not health care and poverty issues???
Is plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons ok? What is your opinion? Do you think women (or men) should change their body by surgery to be more attractive? Is this necessary? Is it healthy?
Why are stomach reduction and breast enlargement surgeries common but penis enlargement surgeries uncommon? I realize there are risks involved with all cosmetic surgery. But surely more men would get penis enlargement surgery than women would get breast enlargement surgery (for about the same reasons) if they were equally safe, effective and expensive. But they don't, which must mean it's not equally safe, effective and expensive. Even penis removal seems to be more common. Why?
Men & Women - thoughts on plastic surgery and your partners? Would you date someone who had cosmetic surgery previous to meeting you? What if they hid it from you for a long time? If you're married/in a serious relationship would you be okay with your partner getting cosmetic surgery? Why or why not? Would YOU ever get cosmetic surgery?? I read an article about this last night and it's got me curious. I'll weigh in with my own opinion now - Personally, I would never get it done unless medically neccesary, or to replace something I lost through medical procedure (mastectomy, or something) And I would also never like my partner to get it, unless medically neccesary. And he feels the same about it. Confidence is sexy. And if someone so self concious that they'd go through all that and take the risks to change it, it's a turn off. Sure some people can get one procedure and be 100 happy - but I think a lot of people have deep seated esteem issues that no surgery will ever fix and they keep getting surgery and it never works. Like they say, how can you expect someone to love you, if you can't love yourself!
what is your opinion on this new cosmetic surgery on women? isn't it the same as circumcision? check the link first. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=294641 If you ask me it it the same thing as men getting circumcised just for the look of it. Both are not required and are there just to make money for the doctors. what is your opinion? by the way i know that some religions do it but some religions still practice female circumcision, just because they practice it does not make it right. male circumcision is not about being clean-we do know how to clean out penis.
Muslims, can Muslims get plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons? I noticed that Iran has a lot of nose jobs. Plastic surgery - nose jobs, women's breast implants, men's pec implants, liposuction, and etc.
What are christian (or any other religions) views on cosmetic surgery? Is it an insult to god for people to have boob jobs etc... Does man have the right to mess around with gods finished product? Will people who have this sort of surgery be going to hell for thinking they can improve on gods work? What about people who are disfigured in accidents? Is cosmetic surgery acceptable under these circumstances? What about the surgeons who do the work, is it hell for them as well? Excellent, I am glad that no one has a problem with man playing god.
New cosmetic surgery procedures? I'm interested in surgical research and was just wondering what new procedures and/or improvements in existing operations the general public would like to see developed. I'm guessing less invasive body-contouring operations for women and a greatly improved phalloplasty for men.
Plastic-Cosmetic-Face Surgery, Growing up.? If someone got (plastic - cosmetic - face) surgery would there face be stuck like that forever or can there new face get old and age like normal people. This man is 43 years old and got cosmetic surgery on his face. Will his face last like that for a long time ? o.o .... Japanese 43 Year old Cosmetic Surgery http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZQi2sg2bHQ This is just an example of what my question is.
Your opinion on cosmetic surgery? Me and my friend were having a discussion about cosmetic surgery. Aside from the Batman Two Face scenario where your hideously scarred somehow, we disagree on the issue of cosmetic surgery - face lifts, boob jobs, botox and even hair graphs for men. He feels it's not natural and to stick with what God gave you. I feel if it makes your feel better about yourself and it'll boost your self esteem, there's a difference between self esteem and vanity, I see nothing wrong with it. I myself had hair graphs put in at Bosleys not long ago because I didn't want to lose my hair and I feel great and I'm glad I did it. I do think people can go too far and there is only so much cosmetic surgery can do but if you can afford it then go for it. Your thoughts?
If cosmetic surgeons develop a procedure to give humans horns...? Will all atheists be given a voucher for a free surgery? Must atheist men grow a pointy goatee to qualify?
I have a question about cosmetic surgery.? I want to have plastic surgery done in Manhattan, New York. I was wondering if there is anyone on this site that has had surgery done that knows a Doctor that has financing available at the office for all types of credit. I have contacted Be your best and they provide financing but i would prefer to do it at the office where the surgery would be performed. It would be to much to include a middle man. If there is anyone that has anything to let me know about having surgery done in New York than please let me know. A big plus for those that has already surgery done. Thanks in advance.
Cosmetic Surgery not really helping meet better guys? I'm 27 going on 28 and have had trouble meeting men who meet my level of standards, I'm college educated with a masters degree, I have a very good income level and for a long time I wondered why I couldn't meet the right kinds of guys. For a while I felt like perhaps my appearence was part of the problem though my friends and family told me it wasn't. Well, I've had a few cosmetic procedures done and it's been almost a year since I've had work done and I'm not really having any better luck. I've tried dating sites, personals, being set up by friends and nothing really works, I haven't had a "serious" relationship since I was 19 and have had numerous bad experiences meeting people. Some have said that perhaps my standards are set too high on the kinds of men I'm willing to meet (this is in part due to some bad past experiences). Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I should do to change my approach? It was just minor stuff involving my nose which wasn't completely straight, it wasn't SERIOUS cosmetic surgery but I had the idea in my mind that it was part of the problem.
what are the alternatives to surgery for my son's "man breasts"? My insurance will not pay for cosmetic surgery. I am trying to help him, this is devastating to his self confidence. Need good advice please.
breast enlargement? why do women and men have cosmetic surgery are you for or against
Why do homosexual men take an interest in stopping circumcision in newborn boys? The Parents, Family members and Family friends don't seem to take such an interest in being against circumcision as much as gay men and do take interest in more important, life-threatening issues in the care, treatment and well-being of Mother and child than gay men so why do gay men oppose a very common practice that has very few fatalities and though circumcision may be a pointless and unnecesary cosmetic amputative surgery for when there are more important issues that need taken care of and that need everybody's attention have no meaning for gay men! He doesn't want me to have cosmetic surgery? I have 2 beautiful kids, they are ages 5 and 1... After I had my 1st child I weighed 215lbs. I now weigh 115lbs, and I also exclusively breastfed both of my kids for over one year. Between the weight loss and the breastfeeding, my body is in deplorable condition. I am 21 years old... It's not that I want to look good for others, but I want to be happy when I am naked before I get in the shower and catch a glimpse of myself or when I put on a swimsuit at the beach... My bf thinks I want my excess skin removed so that I can be sexy for other men.. How do I explain to him in a way he can understand, that I did all the work of losing over 100 lbs, and I just want to get rid of unsightly loose skin? And b4 you say he is okay with it, I want you to know that he has called me "The Elephant Man" and "Freddy Krueger." No hon, they are our kids...
Is there a man looking for a relationship who wouln't mind payinghelping me get some cosmetic surgery done? I am not a gold digger, I just can't do this on my own, and I would listen to what they would like too, but not into the porn star look. Ask me anything if you are interested......
Cosmetic Surgery Under 18? Hi, over here in the Isle of Man (UK) you need to be 18 or over to have any form of surgery WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT. I have Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Bi-Polar Disorder. I really hate my looks, there are times where I havn't been out of the house for 2 months straight because of it. I feel like people don't find me pleasing to look at, not even my friends or my girlfriend and that personally I am disgusting. However, I have mentioned all of this to my parents (mum and stepdad) about them giving me parental consent, and saying I will pay for it, yet they just laugh at me. =[ I really want to get this done, and I really cant wait any longer. I have been waiting for years and years... Going out to see my friends and girlfriend feels like a chore/embarrassment in terms of how i look at the moment. I want it to be how it should be...fun and an enjoyment. Is there any possible way to get cosmetic surgery now WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT? I AM 17 (18 IN APRIL) I have been working on loving myself my whole life. Didn't work.
Do you think I'm vain for having cosmetic surgery... am getting snide remarks from people...? I'm 18 and have recently had undergone rhinoplasty (a nose job). Back in November, I was walking home from college and was mugged by a man. I made the mistake of trying to stop him from getting off with my bag and wouldn't let go, so he attacked me. He threw on the ground and punched and kicked me several times in the face. My nose was very badly broken, and completely wrecked the shape of my nose. It looked squashed, bent and pointed to the side. For the next few months I saved up my wages to get a nose job, so I could have my nose reshaped back to the way it was before the attack. I had it done a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with the results, but now I'm getting snide remarks from some people at college. They make remarks such as "Oh well, we can't all afford to spend money on cosmetic surgery". They make it sound like I did it purely for vanity reasons. Do you think people who have cosmetic surgery are vain, even if it's for recontructive reasons? I did report it to the police, but they never found the man who attacked me.
Are women turning men into vain, image obsessed wussies? Women are more and more going for looks and stuff like shaved chests and stuff. Cosmetic surgery is at an all time high for guys. What do you reckon?
I Hate My Face-What Male Cosmetic Surgery Is Best? Ever since school I have disliked the way I looked. Girls liked me for being top of class or stories or similar. This has continued through University & Work as its only after presentations or similar that women take a liking for me. It dents my self-confidence. I've had relationships but not many- very few times have women made known any interest in me by asking me out/for a drink/ etc. I've always done the chasing. Its always what I do, not how I look. Out with friends its rare any woman tries to catch my eye or show any interest. As my friends are mostly better looking it sidelines me a bit. I'm good at approaching (which they like) but having to do this constantly is annoying, especially when other Guys can come in and do nothing and still be streets ahead of me. Now in my 30's, I'd like the chance to walk into bars/clubs and have women notice me. I'd like to experience for the first time the women wanting me on stone cold looks only. So, my question is: Which surgery/ies best? Generally, what adds most to looks on a man which women will look at and say "Hey, That's Hot!" Cheekbones, Implants? Chin? As I'm putting myself in debt for this I need serious answers. (And before any amateur psychologists say 'Love Yourself' just accept that finally being taken on looks alone means a lot to me!) Which is best and most effective?
how much does cosmetic surgery? i wanna get lipo on my love handles and i wanna get a breast deduction for my man boobs who much does it usually range from? oh and if there is a better solution for me please tell me i'm really tired of going to the gym for two hour a day 5 times a week an not seeing results!!!
Is this really intimate Cosmetic Surgery? A sexually active woman tells her plastic surgeon that she wanted her vaginal lips reduced in size because they were too loose and floppy. Out of embarrassment she insisted that the surgery be kept a secret and the surgeon agreed. Awakening from the anesthesia after the surgery she found 3 roses carefully placed beside her on the bed. Outraged, she immediately calls in the doctor. "I thought I asked you not to tell anyone about my operation!" The surgeon told her he had carried out her wish for confidentiality and that the first rose was from him: "I felt sad because you went through this all by yourself." "The second rose is from my nurse. She assisted me in the surgery and empathized because she had the same procedure done some time ago." "And what about the third rose?" she asked. "That's from a man upstairs in the burn unit. He wanted to thank you for his new ears."
A cosmetic surgery question for ladies, would you? Would you go for a 'designer vagina'? It's an operation where they sew up your vagina muscles to make them tighter than they've ever been, and trim you up on the outside, so it looks like a perfect peach! Crazy I think, but what do you think? Is your man worth enduring all that pain for??
Cosmetic Surgery Questions? Ok so im a man who is considering getting a nose job, eye lift and mole removal of the face. And wanted to know what to expect of each procedure and how much they will cost. I would also like to know the risk i would be taking by going through with these procedures also I heard you can go to India and get the same procedures for up to 30% of what you'd pay in the U.S. so I wanted to know if this was safe, if its succesfull and if anyone has had it done.
Will an HMO pay at least half of the surgery costs to remove an alien implant ? It's not a complicated procedure. It's not very deep into the tissue and local antisthetic will work fine. The implants themselves are no bigger than say a large splinter. It's not that the grey's are careless about putting implants in that are easily detected by us, it's just that they know that the best thing we can do on Earth is deny it to the utmost, live a detached existance, and let events continure here excactly as THEY want. Just as they have been doing since 1954. And that's the straight skivy. But anyway's, even an out-patient surgery will be a heavy buck if it's a non-covered procedure. For all I know, they may classify this as "selective" or "cosmetic" surgery. Or they just may classify it. Man, I am funny today !
WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THIS COSMETIC SURGERY? If a women feels she needs fake boobs, lips, cheeks, aS$, tan, chin etc. then doesn't realize that nobody will ever Truly love her for her? It's just like the white man to make someone feel they aren't good enough! " DUDE.. CHECK OUT THE BLONDE BABE,,,CHECK THEM TITTIES OUT!" HOW can a women stand to look at herself in the morning before applying her face?WILL ALL THIS VANITY MADNESS EVER END?
Why cosmetic surgeries have become so much popular ? Lipo suction , Breast implants , Skin Grafts and thousands of them. Unless advised for medical reason why we should do these risky surgeries ? Just because there are men all around and they like and admire sexy and good looking women ? Why we cannot have our own identity ? Are we facing identity crisis ? Have we taken birth only to ensure that men around are pleased because of us and to keep them happy and excited ? I cannot understand reasoning behind popularity of proliferation of cosmetic surgeries. What are your views ? So just because men and society around you like nice nose , large boobs , flat tummies , shapely figure etc etc, you would go in for cosmetic surgery ? In days to come there would be more complex cosmetic surgeries which would change you idenitity totally - would you go for it ? what is the harm in acccepting youself the way in which you have taken birth ? Ofcourse I am excluding medically advised surgeries.
Ramadan: Plastic Surgery? What are your opinions on women (and men) who resort to plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons? It's obviously Haram, but I would like to hear personal opinions regarding this matter. I am sure many of us are aware of plastic surgery infested places like California, Brazil, and Lebanon (just to name a few). Kumari: Only if you stop asking those annoying questions =) Raw: It sure has ended up wrong several times. Just look at Nancy Ajram, what a turn off. Thanks for your input. Kumari: Oh ya Allah. Amallay: Those are the women I'm talking about, those that have normal features and just go at it. Talk about no confidence and they still don't have it after several jobs. They get one and they'll want another. So sickening. 1986: I should have clarified, I meant women who are "normal" and still go for plastic surgery. 1986: If I had small breasts I still would consider it Haram. If a man is not happy with the way I look, then let him be. Confidence is true beauty. Your strength and ability to overcome your inner self-consciousness about the way people perceive you is beauty. Any mature, real, caring man would see that beauty in that. The struggle you overcome and the beauty you put out there. It is only invisible to those who do not want to see you for who you are and not what you are. Going by your logic, I could say I do not want to wear the Hijab because people make me feel unattractive and it's hurting my feelings. Kumari: Are you talking to me? I didn't report anyone. And I didn't give that thumb down either. 1986: I didn't say you said that, but I said based on your logic. When you said "if she needs this surgery for a psychological need it will be ok depending on her intention". But depending on my intention, it could be that I have a psychological need because I am not being accepted. It is not my intention to disobey Allah (swt), but I'm doing it for me. Is it not the same thing? Sara: Tell me about it. It only shows their insecurity and the corruption and unacceptance of natural women.
Research poll for college paper, answer please? I'm writing a exploratory essay on the self-esteem of today's men. More and more men are turning to cosmetic surgery to reach the "image of perfection" on some level. When you answer, I need you to state your gender, and your opinion. Please and thanx :)
For men to answer and women to observe..? Would you rather a woman get cosmetic surgery, dye her hair to cover the grey along with all the aerobics, tanning and younger clothing to look more youthful as we get older? Or do you think it's just foolish and silly? How about a women who doesn't fight aging but takes care of herself? Would you rather grow old with a women close to your age or trade her in for a younger model?
Any thoughts on whether women go to great lengths for their appearance to impress men, or their own gender? I'm referring to (some) heterosexual women in this case. Specifically I'm thinking of cosmetics, cosmetic surgery and procedures, clothes, purses, hair, shoes, all sorts of beauty products, etc. Thanks!
Is the Hijab a protection from more than sexual leers from men? I've read many of the questions and time and time again u hear the same thing over and over, that the head covering of the Muslim woman, the hijab, is a protection from the sexual glances or advances of men. This is true, but doesnt God say in the Quran 'it is a protection for u' but a protection from what? everyone seems to focus on what i mentioned above, but have u ever considered that its also another form of protection? a protection from excessive self vanity? u only have to look at the rise in cosmetic surgery to see the pressure women feel to have bigger this or smaller that, or a little change here or there then i'll be more confident! Why? arent u confident that ur inner self along with ur own physical appearance is good enough? the more u take off and expose, the more u expose it to scrutiny and criticism leading to feelings of low self confidence, anorexia need for surgery, etc. Muslim women, practicing their religion with the correct understanding dont have this problem.
is it gruesome or aesthically ethical for women to get vaginoplasties? it seems that things are getting extremely out of hand when normal women are running to cosmetic surgeons to be cut on in that area. is it just me or is that an alarm bell for society? (i'm definitely not opposed to cosmetic surgery or to looking beautiful, especially for your man, but this seems a little scary to me)....ps. i'm not talking about a woman who has a horrible disfigurement, but just normal, average women in general.
Ladies and fellow fashionista have you ever ???? Have you ever worn like colored contacts , gel or acrylic nails , hair extensions ,dyed your hair or maybe even had a lil cosmetic surgery and once a man finds out you have something fake they are like "eww why" ......im not all for the fake thing but lets be real almost every woman in north america has done at lest one of the following above and the guy was probably all for it until you fessed up . And then when the guy finds out its like well you thought I was just perfect before so why are you having a little spaz fit now ? lol ............Ive had a lot of guys not like the fact I wear color contacts but I love them I love to experiment with different styles and looks thats just me and I cant wait to find a man who loves that about me lol BUT does it drive you crazy ? It sure pisses me off at times lol ....why ? because they look at celebrities and think shes soo hot but we all know a huge majority celebrities have at lest one thing thats not natural lol Anyways lol I just wanted to know if this subject makes any one else frustrated too when people nag you for not being 100% au natural lol yet before hand they thought u were just great lol anyways just curious ? P.S. I know it can be disappointing when maybe a girls breast or something like that is fake , but i really dont think your hair and eye color or how you wear your nails should be that big a deal !
Well the health bill was signed last night one more step before Obama signs it.And he will? Yippee! does anyone know what is in it?Will it pay for illegals, abortions, raise taxes.? Dont care about the taxes on cosmetic surgery as we all know everyone on capital hill has had their faces done,Bet there would be a lot of ugly old men and women if they never had it done.Lots of luck Nancy on your newest procedure.you always come back with that wide eyed look.
What if the shoe was on the other foot? Males always emphasize the need for females to have large breasts and sizeable butts. Women, the world over, are having cosmetic surgery trying to live up to this standard. What if females become as adamant and as obsessive about size as we? If males with small to medium penises are seen as turnoff to women, will they begin spending billions on penile enlargement? Why is it good for the goose but not the gander? Men often compensate by lifting weight, but only the right muscle will satisfy in bed. Not every man has requirements for famales, but the majority does. Plastic surgery is a multi-billion dollars business.
Question About Men / For men??? profer? Why is it that when you speak to alot of men they say that they much profer women who are natural who dont wear much make up if any and dont have cosmetic surgery or wear fake nails and hair ect....... Yet the sales of mens magazines full of fake slappers who wear loads of make up and have fake breasts is huge? please explain???
More men are having cosmetic surgery these days. What are your thoughts? Should they? Is that considered a manly thing to do?
Why doesn't Tom Cruise have cosmetic leg lenghtening surgery done? why celebrities don't do this surgery?? but they do every other cosmetic surgery known to man????
Has anyone ever heard of penile fractures as forms of male cosmetic surgery? Ok don't think I'm weird but I work at an adult book store and I was watching two different movies by the same male star. In one film he has a regular looking member but in the more recent film he has a curvature to it. I have heard of men breaking the penis but because the adult film industry is so looks oriented I was wondering if people actually do that as forms of cosmetic surgery.
MEN: If your girl asked you to get elective plastic surgery would you? If your wife or girl friend asked you to get some cosmetic surgery would you? Tummy tuck?
Alright ladies, would you have cosmetic surgery to save your relationship or career? Was watching a story on this the other day and was amazed at how so many people do this to keep their man or move up at work. How far would you go to keep that stud or get that promotion?
i was raped, i am a man i want cosmetic surgery what/how? what if there is can fix my outside anus
Do you support the Bo-Tax? (5% tax on cosmetic surgery)? 1st of all, 5% is not that much. but anyway...........I just saw an advocate on tv say, "It's discriminatory against women because 75% of cosmetic patients are women." That's BULL. Men have just as much opportunity to get cosmetic surgery as women. Just because they CHOOSE not to, doesn't mean it's discriminatory. I'll tell you what would be discriminatory: Taxing vaginal surgery. That would be an example of a tax that men CAN'T pay. Cosmetic surgery is by definition elective, unnecessary.......voluntary tax.... this idiot argued "It taxes the middle class"..................well it's voluntary! If you're financially struggling........then don't get the surgery! Now there are some situations that I'm sympathetic to: A 15 year old has a big nose.......and wants to get surgery to have a normal-looking nose. Technically it's "cosmetic" surgery..........but socially, that surgery is necessary and beneficial. So that might be a problem with this tax. Although it's only 5% so what's the big deal.
Female or male, who cares more about their physical appearance? Who cares more a out their physical appearance? I said both gender do care about their physical apperance, but female cares more. I have to support my claim with stat and evidence. I was thinking: 1.# "beauty" products men vs women 2. # cosmetic surgery men vs women Does anyone know a good websites with these statistic?
There's A Lot Of Talk About Cosmetic Surgery At The Minute...? ...and how some men would like to improve their 'maggots'. Do you think it's a good idea to use cosmetic surgery to enhance what God has given you, or should men just accept that some are more blessed than others?
If you were a celebrity would you get cosmetic/plastic surgery? What would you get? Id get veneers on my teeth that's probably it! Maybe the most tinyest nose job know to man kind
New cosmetic surgery procedures? I'm interested in surgical research and was just wondering what new procedures and/or improvements in existing operations the general public would like to see developed. I'm guessing less invasive body-contouring operations for women and a greatly improved phalloplasty for men.
Anyone had or considering having cosmetic surgery? I am doing an essay on cosmetic surgery and how the media and those who look "perfect" affect the self-esteems of women. (and men, too!) Please only answer if you are serious! Anything helps. I need real-world answers. Think of this as a survey. Please answer the questions as follows: 1. Have you ever considered getting ANY type of cosmetic/plastic surgery? (including botox, lipo, etc.) 2. Have you ever been jealous or insecure because of those in the media (celebrities?) that look virtually perfect as a result of cosmetic surgery? Describe how it makes you feel. 3. What type of procedure would you get if you went through with getting cosmetic surgery? 4. What do you think about people who have had these procedures? You can answer here or feel free to email me at nprettyman@ymail.com Thank you all so much! By answering these questions you will be helping more than you know. If you would like to read my essay once it is completed (in approx. 3 weeks) please email me and I will be sure to send you a copy! Thanks again
Married men - do you stop loving your wife when she lets herself go? I just cant imagine ever letting myself go when married - id be too scared my husband would stop finding me attractive. I'm always on a really strict diet, i work out and take care of my skin. I'd get botox, cosmetic surgery like chemical peels etc to keep looking good. I know marriage is supposed to be a bond that goes beyond looks but i believe men love their wives less when they let themselves go. Is that true?
is there any cosmetic surgery to get rid of a beer belly !!? i'm a man aged 35.do you have any idea how much does it cost
How do you thinking wearing a Hijab compares to Cosmetic Surgery? A recent article interviewed a women wearing a hijab who said: "“When I wear Western clothes, men stare at me, objectify me, or I am always measuring myself against the standards of models in magazines, which are hard to live up to - and even harder as you get older, not to mention how tiring it can be to be on display all the time. When I wear my headscarf or chador, people relate to me as an individual, not an object; I feel respected.” I discussed it some with a friend saying "crazy stuff isnt it, just the whole aspect of being so sensitive to how other people see you" She replied "but in the west it's girdles and cosmetic surgery, anorexia and botox". Do you think she has a good point, that women in the west are so sensitive to how others see them that they modify their bodies, whereas arab women just cover them up? How do you thinking wearing a Hijab compares to Cosmetics Surgery? Some of you may be confusing Hijab with Chador. Hijab means strictly speaking means modest dress, not too tight , not showing cleavage, generally not underarms either. just below the elbow to just below the knee and to the collar bone at the front. The nape of the neck at the back. Chador is the tent thing.
Hip cosmetic Surgery? I'm a man and my hips stick out in an hour glass shape, wheras most mens torsos are shaped as an upside down triangle, mine is more of a square as my hips stick out. Is there any cosmetic surgery that can fix this. eg shaving some of the bone etc? Answers much appreciated, I have been self conscience about this all my life!
Not cosmetic surgery...? No im not talking about cosmetic surgery, what I am saying to all you followers is that I was asked out from a Man who thought I was pretty girl, couldn't believe my age (real) and even when he was told that I haven't had the op and wouldn't have sex, he was still interested and he was only in he's 30's.. truth from the start helps, I suppose?
has Colonel Gadaffi had facial cosmetic surgery? omg, whats the world coming to, when one of the most feared and dangerous men of the world resorts to the knife to make him look better(?),
did eminem get cosmetic surgery? I don't really find him interesting enough to google him or whatever but I'm a little curious about what happened to his face, when did he start to look like that and why? Is it a disease that affects other men?
Breast cosmetic surgery? I'm 26 years old and my husband and I had a baby via c-section 1 year ago. I want to now have a breast lift and a small breast reduction to take me from a D cup back to a C cup. My only worry is the scar tissue. Although my c-section scar is not too noticeable and it's way below bikini level, I have a visible scar. I was told that if you scar with a c-section you'll scar if you have surgery on your breasts, as well. Any women or men married to women out there with this experience. We'll probably have 1 more baby and then I'd have the surgery post-breast feeding. I don't know what's worse, slightly larger breasts or young perky breasts (again)...but with possible scars...eww.
Since steroids, that give men what nature didn't, are banned don't we also need to ban breast implants? Breast implants give a woman what nature didn't just like testerone injections give men what nature didn't. Botched cosmetic surgeries on the breasts kill far more people per year than steroids do. Seems unfair to me. Yes kim in flordia. They shrink during the times that you are on them. However after getting off of them, they come back.
Do you find it sexist when women make unflattering remarks about uncircumcised penises? To me, that's sexist and shallow. It's the way a man's body is without cosmetic surgery. In Egypt, men find it disgusting for women to keep their clitoris. They think it's dirty, unclean, disgusting. The same reaction sexist women have about a man's natural intact body. Now that being said, uncut men need to practice good hygiene and keep clean....
This is for men only? Ok men this question for you cuz females are to big of haters on me to answer truthfully or without cattyness to it...I thought about getting my eyes tilted in for a more exotic look..that is cosmetic surgery what do u all think u can be as honest as yo want about anything u think i need to change though I think I look good I justthough about my eyes here is me http://s403.photobucket.com/albums/pp117/wildcat0998/?action=view&current=img48dc28a1629e3.jpg now I need a opinion about my sexy azz friend I don't have any body pictures but it's about like mine trust me it's banging but she is thinking about getting her labret pierced also the eye surgery as well..let me know what u think and yes u can be brutal...we are both open minded so u won't upset us we know http://s403.photobucket.com/albums/pp117/wildcat0998/?action=view&current=m_9c52d4781ab44a85afcdb51a7f45feb6.jpg rumble ur n ass I definatly have no issues with myself inner or outer it was a simple idea
Men: What do you think about this??? Please give your honest opinion....? http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/health/how-far-would-you-go-literally-for-cosmetic-surgery-364454/;_ylt=AvzI1n4mgnGqv_RKr07hVC1abqU5
For men: A poll? Would you get cosmetic surgery to fix your penis knowing that it is only a cover up or would you go w/o? specifically to stretch out penile plaque of the skin (visible, hugely)
should it be illegal for people to get sex change surgery? I'm a gynecologist and have been for some years now.I was offered the job of working as a plastic surgeon performing various different male to female "sex change" operations.I declined.I personally believe no one should be allowed to alter their gender in such an extreme and unnatural manner.I find the thought of a man with a fake but nonetheless fully functional vagina terribly disturbing and the same goes for females who have "penis's".People should be allowed plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons but it should be illegal to change your sex as it just too unnatural. And at the end of the day O.K these people have no penis and from the outside it looks like they have a vagina but they ARE NOT women and never will be.Sadly I think they need to realise they never will be and get on with life O.K so they feel they are in thw rong body but if they have the operation they still have the same body. They are still men and will never be women. Also if they were really truly like women in everyway except physical features why do they all walk with the grace of an English Bulldog? They are men, will always be men and must live with it. I once had a MAN come to me because sex was painful.I thought at first it was a butch woman until I was examining him.I could see immediately HE had a fake vagina. To the trained eye there is so much difference between the fake and real and it's all in their heads that they are female Oh and medical advice over the internet on sites like this should be illegal! I have been horrified at some of the advice given in answers to women's health issues. One example today was a woman was told the hymen was INSIDE the vagina! Is it? That's news to me!
White men! Do you respect or degrade white women??? Didn't recognize her existance until the 15th Amendment. Use her to sell sex over any other women. Never tell her contributions to America in history books. More of her then you, but she still makes less money then you and treat her as a minority. She is never beautiful enough for you. She spends more money on cosmetic surgery(lips, breast, etc..), tanning and make-up then any other women. She spends more money on self esteem therapy then any other group of females. She gets more abortions then any other group of females. Am I stereotyping, assuming, overreacting, lying, or exposing any truths?
Should a man be allowed to go to a doctor for steroid injections in the same way women go in for diet pills? If he is over 18, in good health and not playing a competitive sport. Right now the government says it's illegal. But it's totally legal for fat women to take diet pills with nasty side effects (more dangerous than steroids) and cosmetic surgery. It should also be noted that there are more deaths from diet pill overdoses and botched plastic surgeries than steroid overdoses.
girls: How do you feel about men doing anabolic steroids? I've been studying the subject a bit. The truth is, if a guy is muscley but had low body fat (aka buff), He will either be a) an athlete, training 10 to 30 hours per week or b) a nature freak with a miracle metabolism or c) on (or has been on) steroids. The thing with steroids is that they are very hard to detect and steroid culture promotes silence for obvious reasons (its illegal, prevent accusations of bad sportsmanship or ban from competitions). Also the use (and abuse) of steroids can be blamed for impotence and aggressive behaviour. Sounds familiar? Your man might be on it. How do you think this compares with women’s beauty sacrifices? (Cosmetic surgery, bulimia, etc?) well, its really good of you girls to say that "youd dump him". I just said that if he looks musculey and buff then odds are he is on steroids. You prob wouldnt be going out with him in the first place? same way i'd be attracted to a skinny fit girl, I'd condemn the surgery and constant vomiting. But I'd never go out with a fat girl, so.... hey big bull, chill ouuut!! You on steroids or what? dont get all agravated, calling me a gay jack off like that? jesus! You roid freak (ahahahaha pwned)
I'm an avg. man with freakishly small feet-- 6.5. Can human growth hormone or surgery increase my shoe size? I'm in my mid-30s. I'm just under 5'10", about avg. for an American male. I'm of Italian, Irish and Russian descent. I do have a smallish frame, but not freakishly so. My hands, face, and other body parts are in good proportions. But my feet are only size 6.5. They look unusually small. Women comment on it all the time. And I have a hard time finding shoes or even socks that fit properly. Can I do anything to get bigger feet? Woudl human growth hormone injections help? Is there a cosmetic surgery than can be done? Is there some other type of therapy I can do, like some sort of stretching exercises? I know this is something of a stupid question, but I'm tired of being self-conscious about it. Thank you.
A question for men who are living as women 24/7? I've decided now I'm going to living as the fake shell "Billy" and become Clare full-time. This is a decision I have been toying with for many years but have never carried it out because of lack of support. I know you have to live as a woman for 2 years before you get a sex change, but I doubt I'll go for the full op I'll probably just get a breast enlargement and some cosmetic surgery. I have the money to do this so that's not a problem. What I am wanting to know is how to take the intial steps to becoming a full-time woman? I feel the time is right to get my name changed and make it official as it hurts when people call me Billy. They do it even when I'm dressed as Clare and it feels like there not taking me seriously. How do you go about getting your name change and is there any support groups available. If you've gone through this yourself please add any more information you think I might need to know. Thanks:) This is your response Jupiter - 1) I want to be known as Clare thus I will need to get my name changed as soon as possible so it's official. 2) I'm actually asking this question because I'm looking for a bit more detail other than just see a psychologist. I'm not talking hypothetical anymore. I want real practical advice about how I could make a start THIS WEEK. Do you know how long it takes through the NHS? You start off with your GP then they refer you to some other DR. who's booked up for 6 Months . The whole process takes ages and they're constantly passing the buck. That's why I've lost heart in the past. 3) Does it really matter about PC? Transsexual, pre-op men living as women, there both the same thing. Well let me just say for whoever may view this question, that I will be getting my name changed next week in order to anchor myself to this decision. I was just outside getting my shopping and when I thought of myself as being Clare Nicole I found myself smiling. The process to get your name changed is simple, and it costs around about £50 depending on what changes you wish to make. Visit www.deedpoll.org.uk for more info Oh yeah and at what point did I ask if you can walk straight into a hospital and ask for a vaginoplasty? That's what everyone seems to be suggesting.
"Can acupuncture help to remove flesh from particular parts of the body? I am a man. Age 55 years. Right from my young days, my breasts are slightly swollen. I want to avoid excessive flesh without going for cosmetic surgery.
During the debate, did you catch when McCain was talking about healthcare? "Now, 95 percent of the people in America will receive more money under my plan because they will receive not only their present benefits, which may be taxed, which will be taxed, but then you add $5,000 onto it, except for those people who have the gold-plated Cadillac insurance policies that have to do with cosmetic surgery and transplants and all of those kinds of things." How in God's name could the man lump transplants and cosmetic surgery into the same category???? Shouldn't all health care plans cover a necessary transplant? Or should we assume that a kidney transplant is "elective surgery"? This guy is completely out of touch with humanity!
Why when white women get all that cosmetic surgery done they still never achieve that youthful appearance ? Sorry white girls...It's a losing battle.. It's proven White women start aging at 25 !! Crow's feet, frown lines, and not to mention that aging NECK. How could any man wake up to an aging Pale face like that every morning ?
Has Al Gore recently has cosmetic surgery around his eyes? I saw him on TV the other day and he looked FREAKY, man!
Foot Cosmetic Surgery? One. I don't like my feet. They look just too ugly. Need I have them worked on to make something like hers in the lower picture? Two. I'd think it's difficult to operate to transform a man's foot into that of a woman's like the one in the lower picture? Three. Would it be possible to make the spider veins on the feet in the upper picture as less visible/noticeable as the ones in the lower picture?
How much do you spend on cosmetics? And do you really use them properly? shopping, cosmetics, surgery, esthetics, women, men Actually I was asking creams, lotions, toner etc. products out of make-up skin care products
sex change operations a fake, like cosmetic surgery? I read this comment recently, inplying that a sex change operation, in reality, is not what it implies. " Real sex change does not exist! A man will still have the inner personality of a man, and his body will not react the same way as a woman's body does to foreplay, relaxation, etc. Even if he takes away his body hair with laser, even if he takes in hormones to soften his muscles and to grow breasts (which by the way will be just fat, not real breasts with milk ducts inside) and even if he has his penis and scrotum cut off, and part of it re-arranged to resemble a vulva, and even it they create a hole in between his legs, it's not a real vagina that lubricates and has a G-spot, leads to a womb and ovaries, etc, Any comments on this, ?
Women can have preferences but men cant? Okay there's this girl I know who's always writing papers on how she feels men caused females to feel so bad about themelves. Men are the reason why they stave themselves and get cosmetic surgery. So basically shes against men who want thin big breasted women. BUT yet, the other day I heard hear joking about how she'd never date a short man. So why is it evil for men to want certain body types but just natural for women to want a certain body type? ( I know this doesnt refer to all women )
What are men's opinion on girls with implants? I'm just curious! I mean, I personally wouldn't be interested in a man with fake "parts" *cough cough* So what do the majority of guys think of the whole cosmetic surgery thing?
if you want cosmetic surgery and your man cant afford to pay for it? i want cosmetic surgery to feel good about myself . my boyfriend looks at other girls when im with him. and it makes me feel bad about myself. my body dont look the same from when we met . do to having his child. should i get with another guy to help pay for it.
Why do women dress to arouse men? Some women's self cofidence gets stronger with each man she can arouse with her physical appearence (sexy clothes, glamourous makeup, cosmetic surgery, etc). Sometimes it is like a game to see how many men will stare at her in a public place. The more heads she turns the more empowered she feels. If we have learned to value our selves as women, why do we need to sacrifice our desency to feel empowered? Thanks for all the answers so far. A lot of good points from different angles. Please note that I am not referring to all women or women without any natural beauty (do such women exist?). I am referring to the ones who groom their physical appearence with the whole-hearted intention of arousing men (any man who sees her). Why do they need to sacrifice their desency to feel empowered?
Breast implants: did they make your life better or worse? Everywhere in the media it seems that everyone needs to have the 'perfect' body and one of the ways is to get cosmetic surgery, including implants. I can see where liposuction is usefull, but implants? I don't think so. I mean; Why? My real curiosity is for women who actually had them (or you know of someone who had them): Did your life become better after getting a larger chest (more dates, more s*x, more compliments, better job, more recognition at work), or did it make your life worse off (backaches, perverts stalking you, guys only wanting s*x, shirts that won't fit, other women getting jealous) ?? Is it true that women get implants in order to impress other women, and not the men it their life. That women dress up and wear makeup because it is competition with other women, not an attempt to get attention from men. Could this be the real reason women are getting implants? Whatever the case, please let me know if your life changed for the better or worse afterwards.
do you think hairpiece/wig is "deceptive" for online dating profile photo? I would not give this a second thought except that several female friends had very strong negative comments about this. The photo with "hair" makes a night and day difference in terms of making the first contact. (don't need any artificial help after that ...) I know women like to claim that physical appearance is not the only thing (yeah, right ... both men and women want to date someone "attractive" ... men just honest about it). I don't see this as any different from dressing well, being clean and well groomed. How is this any different from a woman who colors her hair, uses makeup, wears a pushup bra or has had cosmetic surgery??? I am not claiming to have a full head of hair but I am also not going say anything about it unless it comes up ... why should I? I would assume it would be more obvious in person than an online photo ... but I still do not feel at all deceptive or sneeky. any thoughts on this? ladies ... anybody had any relevant experience?
why do young models in competitions all look alike? they all have long hair, all look like they have had cosmetic surgery or enhancements done, all are nearly the same size and shape. There seems to be no difference between their looks one to the other. If men are attracted to these women, would it be safe to say they would choose "any" of those models and it wouldn't make a difference to that male which one they chose for dating, since men are attracted to looks and are into physical appearance? I mean like wouldn't a man have chemistry with all of the models? And why do all young women want to look alike?
White MEN! If you love your women and think they are beautiful, then why change them? I've seen MORE whites than any race of people trying to change the look of there women... Some blacks (not me) change by straightening or dying their hair... But many white women go through h#ll with plastic surgery, weaves, tans..etc.. Why don't you accept the beauty of your women, and stop trying to change them? Of course this doesn't apply to ALL http://www.plasticsurgery.org/media/statistics/loader.cfm?url=/commonspot/security/getfile.cfm&PageID=23762 Percentage of USA that get cosmetic surgery.. 77% white 8%hispanic 7%Black 6%other SORRY 6% ASIAN 2% OTHER First Answer Well I believe MOST(of course NOT ALL) women change to be appealing to there mate or look good for their husband...so if they see their husband/boyfriend lusting after certain traits, of course they will feel that THEY would be more appealing if they too had those same traits.. Notice you see white men say they LOVE blondes...then you see TONS of White women DYING THEIR HAIR BLONDE... It's like cause and effect i guess..
Is it time to end our friendship? I have known my friend for nearly 10 years. We were close ( I was holding her leg has she gave birth to her twins) but since I moved away from her 4 years ago I feel our friendship is very one sided. Its always me that phones or text her unless she wants something or to come for a holiday. Everytime she and the children come, I pay for everything. Which is quite costly (1 adult and 2 8yr olds) she always leaves a lasting impression on my home, last time pointed heal marks all over my wooden floors, She also asked me to lend her £5000 for cosmetic surgery and was not happy when I refused, she is a bit of a tart with men and always goes for mr wrong, I told her to get some self respect!!! and she went home early and we havn't really spoken since. So do I call it a day?????? The problems is I think the world of her children and don't want to lose contact with them Ps this may sound petty but she dos'nt even send my children birthday cards and it really pisses me off!!
Please help again ladies...(This means no men)? The problem is my wife likes John Cena, the wrestler. She collects his posters, his movies, his trading cards, and the shows that he is on. Should I get cosmetic surgery just like him and start taking steroids just to look like him? I think she would like that more and she would stop lookin at him? Thanks.
Have you seen this website? I was over in health and beauty and ran across a question about a website called www.myfreeimplants.com You can actually post pictures and profiles so men can donate to your cosmetic surgery dreams! What is this world coming to? I would think that I would have better luck standing on the side of the freeway with a sign around my neck reading "Will work for boob job"!
Women, could you date a man with a penis implant? Or date a guy that had any cosmetic surgery. My girlfriends and i were discussing how men have no problem dating women with breast implants but we would never date a guy that had a penis implant.
is this fine essay? "Beauty is in the eye of beholder," is an unknown proverb in contemporary society. It is a simple sentence that does not make sense anymore. Some women, and now many more men, think social interaction and personal success are dependent on physical attraction, and unfortunately, in this society, they are frequently right. Being perfect is a common issue, but when this issue becomes an obsession it can grow into a far more serious mental illness. Plastic surgery is a huge obsession among all people including preteens, teenagers, and adolescents. It is an obsession that is fed by models and celebrities who think nothing of going under the scalpel again and again in an elusive chase after a beauty icon that does not exist. Plastic surgery is not without risk. It is not a healthy way to look perfect. Plastic surgery can affect a person physically, socially and mentally, and it can have many side effects. It is a painful procedure that can even lead to death. There is a five percent death risk for all people who undergo anesthesia, especially general anesthesia, which is used in many cosmetic surgeries (Younai). A young mother, Dehlmalyz Rios, was 26 years old when she decided to have plastic surgery. Two days after the surgery her body rejected the fat that was deposited in her calves. She died, leaving two children behind. Clearly it can ruin the lives of more than just its proponents (Peru 2). Plastic surgery includes cutting, bending, stretching and other methods to manipulate body structure in order to get a desired shape. This causes pain, discomfort, and swelling that may remain for a lifetime. Some side effects, such as physical pain, are permanent. Plastic surgery can cause depression brought on by medication used to control the aftereffects of surgery. Poor and sometimes grotesque results may also bring on depression and other emotional problems. Of course there is always the post-surgical risk of pneumonia from having to remain in bed for long periods of time or as a result of forced inactivity, and there are the risks of infection and human error. Sometimes there are emotional traumas from the surgery not having the desired effect, or the person’s inability to accept, or disappointment with, the modifications. There can also be guilt or bad feelings caused by spouses, relatives, colleague or friends. Cosmetic surgery depends a great deal on the doctor’s qualifications. There are doctors who offer surgery at very low prices who are not skilled or qualified to perform plastic surgery. Most of these doctors are untrained except for a seminar in a hotel for a few hours. Credentials aren’t checked so that people who may not even be doctors are allowed to take these seminars. In Miami, a doctor named Reinaldo Silvestre, practiced surgery in a small office. He had very little medical training. One of his patients, named Alexandra Baez, claimed that he gave him breast implants instead of the pectoral muscle implant that he had requested (CNN). Many doctors who are performing plastic surgery are not licensed by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. They are quacks, get-rich-quick surgeons, who perform as many surgeries as they can and often under less than sterile conditions (Odenthal). Cosmetic surgery is not for everyone. This doesn’t prevent people from seeking it. Plastic surgery costs thousands of dollars and usually requires a good deal of recovery time. Some people sacrifice their basic needs to save enough money to pay for the surgery. There are those who say that plastic surgery should not be used to change someone’s appearance for the sake of vanity. Sometimes plastic surgery taken to the extreme can make someone look less than human, as is the case with Michael Jackson. People make fun of him, but he is wealthy enough that it doesn’t seem to affect his life. But what about the person who is not wealthy or what if a celebrity and the surgeon go wrong in making decisions? The surgeon may say he or she is sorry, but the surgeon can just walk away. The patient has to live with the awful results. But whether the surgical effects are deemed a success or failure, both the surgeon and the patient are responsible the surgery and the other performed it. With everything there is good and bad. Plastic surgery is no exception. Cosmetic surgery can make someone feel better about their looks, which may lead to an improved life. And certainly cosmetic surgery to repair birth defects, burns, and scars is a boon. But people need to realize that looking like a Hollywood star isn’t necessarily going to change your life or make you happier. They need to understand that things can and do go wrong with plastic surgery and the decision to have plastic surgery shouldn’t be taken lightly. Because when you get right down to it, beauty IS in the eye of the beholder. Plastic surgery is a risk that is undertaken with both sorrow and pleasure. Before making a decision, a person must consider risks such as unexpected costs, untrained surgeons, and physical pain during and after surgery. People should not be taken in by how inexpensive a surgery is; rather, they should be concerned about the most important thing of all: life. Plastic surgery is preferable for people who don't have other options, but it is not the best way to look like those Hollywood models and celebrities. “Not guilty plea in fake plastic surgeon case.” November 19, 2004 http://www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/11/19/cosmetic.surgeries/ Karl Ross. “Search for Beauty Ends in Death.” 1998: 2 http://www.locateadoc.com/articles.cfm/1406/1412 http://www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/11/19/cosmetic.surgeries/ http://www.surgery.org/press/news-release.php?iid=363§ion=news-safety

Is a woman without a man like a fish out of water? Women only: Please take my quiz. No names, just your age and your country of origin. I am writing a book. 1. On a scale from 1-10, rate how much you want to have a husband, now or in the future, where 1 means you don’t want a husband and 10 means you would do almost anything to get a husband. 2. On a scale from 1-10, rate how badly you would feel if you never got married, where 1 means you would be fine with no husband and 10 means no husband would ruin your life. 3. Do you sometimes wear sexy but uncomfortable shoes or clothing? 4. Have you had any kind of cosmetic surgery? 5. Have you dieted too much? 6. Have you had sex when you didn’t want to? 7. Have you had an abortion? How many? 8. Does your man ever verbally humiliate you? 9. Does your man ever strike you in anger? 10. Has your man ever cheated on you? Did you take him back? 11. Has your man ever sexually or physically abused your children or grandchildren? Did you stay with him? Thanks so much. Thank you so much for your answers. You’re very kind to take the time and give it the thought that you did. Although I tried to make the questions morally neutral, I seem to have caused some animosity. Just to clarify, I am a rabid feminist and I hate the suffering and abuse of women and children at the hands of their intimate partners. I hate it. The numbers are staggering worldwide and it has been so throughout recorded history. It appears from your answers that you are among the majority of women who are not hell bent to have a man. But, to some women, any man is better than none. Those women and their children are at risk for abuse. Again, thank you for your time and consideration. I will take your advice and post this on a different board.
can you edit this essay if you are better in english?
Human race will split into two races? Who believes this? The human race will one day split into two separate species, an attractive, intelligent ruling elite and an underclass of dim-witted, ugly goblin-like creatures, according to a top scientist. 100,000 years into the future, sexual selection could mean that two distinct breeds of human will have developed. The alarming prediction comes from evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry from the London School of Economics, who says that the human race will have reached its physical peak by the year 3000. Scroll down for more... The report claims that after they reach their peak around the year 3000 humans will begin to regress These humans will be between 6ft and 7ft tall and they will live up to 120 years. "Physical features will be driven by indicators of health, youth and fertility that men and women have evolved to look for in potential mates," says the report, which suggests that advances in cosmetic surgery and other body modifying techniques will effectively homogenise our appearance. Men will have symmetrical facial features, deeper voices and bigger penises, according to Curry in a report commissioned for men's satellite TV channel Bravo. Women will all have glossy hair, smooth hairless skin, large eyes and pert breasts, according to Curry. Racial differences will be a thing of the past as interbreeding produces a single coffee-coloured skin tone. The future for our descendants isn't all long life, perfect bodies and chiselled features, however. While humans will reach their peak in 1000 years' time, 10,000 years later our reliance on technology will have begun to dramatically change our appearance. Medicine will weaken our immune system and we will begin to appear more child-like. Dr Curry said: "The report suggests that the future of man will be a story of the good, the bad and the ugly. Scroll down for more... H G Wells' Science Fiction novel The Time Machine (which was later adapted into two films - this picture is from the 2002 version) the human race has evolved into two species, the highly intelligent and wealthy Eloi... ...and the frightening, animalistic Morlock (as seen in the 1960 film version of the classic book) "While science and technology have the potential to create an ideal habitat for humanity over the next millennium, there is the possibility of a monumental genetic hangover over the subsequent millennia due to an over-reliance on technology reducing our natural capacity to resist disease, or our evolved ability to get along with each other. "After that, things could get ugly, with the possible emergence of genetic 'haves' and 'have-nots'." Dr Curry's theory may strike a chord with readers who have read H G Wells' classic novel The Time Machine, in particular his descriptions of the Eloi and the Morlock races. In the 1895 book, the human race has evolved into two distinct species, the highly intelligent and wealthy Eloi and the frightening, animalistic Morlock who are destined to work underground to keep the Eloi happy.
How do we reverse the trend and give women back their confidence? In a recent question about cosmetic surgery, it was pointed out to me that in some places the issue of class is used as a marketing ploy. And now different ethnic groups are being targeted, partly with this issue, to increase business. Why do women(and even men these days) of any social standing need a "quick-fix" solution when sometimes all they need to do to solve their body problems is get fit and lead a healthier lifestyle? Also, breasts are for feeding babies. The reason they're attractive to men is natures way of ensuring they have a chance to serve this purpose. If you don't have big ones you're going to look slimmer and be attractive to men. If you do have big ones you can use them to attract a good man who prefers big ones. So why the need for change? Also botox is made from one of the most poisonous substances known to man. Is our idea of beauty getting ever more perverted?

For male models who have that whole "impossibly chiselled cheeks" thing going on...? A prime example being the first model in this section - http://men.style.com/fashion/collections... Are they really natural, or is any kind of cosmetic surgery used to attain this look? E.g. cheek implants, cheek fat removal etc.. Thanks.
