Can you win a dispute 4 plastic surgery charge?
I paid top dollar to a plastic surgeon to perform liposuction on me. He made me believe that my resultys would be amazing. 3 months after my surgery, I see minimal results. I disputed it on my Amex card. Do you think I have a chance at winning for a service that was not rendered?

- Only if you can prove your claims.
- I don't know. Technically, the service was rendered. He did the surgery. The most important thing you need to know going into a surgeon is what your expectations are, and what the dr is capable of. If he told you, "I will take out 1 L of fat, and you'll look amazing!", that's a matter of opinion, and you can't sue if you disagree. If you said, "I just want this one little area smoother" and it IS smoother, you can't sue. You should have had a long sit down with this doc to go over your expectations. As far as disputing the charge on your card, I think that's going to bite you in the butt. A dispute should only be filed in the case of you not authorizing the charges. I think you're going to lose this one. Not saying it to be a jerk, but it doesn't sound good.
