Who are the top 5 plastic surgeons in Virginia?

I am looking to get some work done within a year.

1. I don't know who the best would be and I don't know what part of Virginia you are in (I am in Virginia Beach). You could try this site to hopefully help you out. http://www.plasticsurgeonsvirginia.com/
2. I have no idea who the top 5 are and, frankly, ask 10 different people and you'll get 10 different answers. I work in surgery and the best advise I can give you is to meet surgeons who are board-certified in Plastic surgery and ask them for referrals from patients. Call or visit those people and get a feel for the work done. Also, check on any lawsuits that might be pending. (Not all lawsuits are legitimate, so get the real info on any that show up). Remember a few basics: 1) always look for board-certification 2) talk to his patients. If he won't give out names, run.....don't walk.....out the door 3) High price doesn't mean quality work. Some of the best surgeons work for small hospitals and avoid the limelight. 4) If it feels weird, then (again) run.......don't walk....out the door! You must be comfortable with your choice in surgeons. 5) Depending on what you want done, remember this as well: THERE IS A DEFINITE RISK WITH ANY SURGICAL PROCEDURE. Don't go into this lightly. My personal opinion, if you're anywhere near UVA in Charlottesville, is that you might want to start with the tenured surgeons there. I met 2 of them in London a few years ago and was very impressed with their expertise.
