oral surgeons/plastic surgeons only please...chicken or egg question?
I want to have my teeth worked on, they are very slightly crooked, I'm looking at doing invisilign on the top only. I also want to have a chin augmentation - not the sliding g, but the implant. I know the implant won't affect my bite, but is it better to have the surgery or the braces first from a cosmetic perspective? Or does it not matter?

- I'd say it probably doesn't matter, but I have not seen you. It might be better to get your teeth straightened first, since they _might_ be affecting the shape of your lips and you'd want your new chin to match the real shape of your lips when you are done.
- Hi, it is a good idea to get the orthodontic treatment completed first and then go for your chin implant. Sometimes the end result of orthodontics is such that you might be satisfied with your look and surgery may not be required. If not, the implant can be done matching your facial characteristics at that time to give a more stable and balanced result.
