Gynecomastia Plastic Surgery Question?
Hi There, I had Gynecomastia 2 years ago, I have had 2 operations to remove the tissue.. the results are ok.. however there is a "pit" or hole behind the nipple area (where the tissue was). The fat and muscle on top and bottom cause the nipple to dip inside, and when I flex, my breast muscle, my nipples just fold.. Today I got back from another plastic surgeon, and he suggested to injest "alloderm" into the dipped area, and fill it in with "Alloderm" . He said it would give me a nice shape, however he notified me that the material is from donated human skin tissue supplied by US AATB-compliant tissue banks (dead people who donated). I do not want that kind of material in my body for cosmetic reasons. The other type of solution he had was fat injection, but the results won't be as good as the Alloderm. I was wondering if anyone had a different solution for me. thanks.

- How old are you ?. In boys of puberty may appear transitory gynecomastia because of hormones disturbance. When puberty go on disturbance disappear, If not, it need consultation of endocrinology.
- There are other fillers. Restylane is a non-animal gel. I don't think it lasts forever, though. Radiesse is another one. They're expensive, though.
- I haven't heard of another solution, but something that may help is doing some research into other instances of this problem and the results of various treatments. You should probably consult more plastic surgeons for advice when it comes down to it.
