What cosmetics/beauty products are top notch?

Prevage, Liftfusion, Creme de la Mer, Dr.Brandt, other items sold specifically by plastic surgeons/dermatologists? If you're really looking to get items that actually WORK, instead of being high priced advertisement scams, and basically regular o'stuff which just basically moisturizes if anything else, what items should you definitely trust your money into? Also, what types of makeup is generally the best? MAC? Also with hair products? Thanks!!

1. - Creme de la mer is my best. its like a miracle in a bottle. - Loreal is one of the cheap and best, used by even top celebs not only in adverts but as one of their beauty secrets - I love MAC for the colour palates, they have the best colours for eyes and lips. the varieties r endless and they suit every skin tone - Hair products i swear by john frieda and pantene. its like they have asolution to every hair problem.

4. i agree, MAC has the best colour palates. i love lancome the best tho...their foundation is by far the best that ive found, its the only thing that matches my skin tone perfectly.
5. I have been using Origins skin care line for about six months. It’s pricey but worth every penny. My skin looks and feels wonderful. For make-up, I love Chanel and Bobbi Brown. I think the products are wonderful, definitely not a gimmick. Hair- I’ve tried just about all of them from the drug stores and hair salon. I keep these 2 on hand at all times- Neutrogena Moisturizing shampoo and Pantene Restoratives conditioner.
