4. HI there- I am a plastic surgeon in Houston and can say that the medical school is just the tip of the iceberg for becoming a plastic surgeon. That is almost like asking which elementary school one should attend so I can play college football. the four years you spend in med school teaches you just the basics of medicine. When you graduate, you are really qualified to only be what is considered a "general practitioner", seeing and treating common ailments. Medical school is just a base for the 7 years of residency after med school necessary to become a plastic surgeon. That is a long way of saying that all of the Ca med schools are good, and you will get a great education.
