Blepharoplasty - eyelid surgery concern?
I had upper eyelid surgery done about 4 days ago and wondered if anyone has had the same experience as me. One eye feels much tighter than the other as if more skin was removed from one lid compared to the other. I know it takes awhile to see the full results from the surgery, but it's making me a little nervous. I'm afraid my eyelids will be asymmetrical. Has anyone experienced this? If you've had upper eyelid surgery, were you happy with the results?

- It is way too early for you to be speculating on how this is going to turn out. Two weeks from now you might be able to judge. One eyelid could be more swollen than the other and thus the tighter feel on one side. Pay no attention to the asymmetry because the area still has some swelling. Most people who have this done are very pleased with the results once the swelling and bruising is gone.
- I had my upper eyelids done years ago. One eye did have more skin removed than the other eye. That's normal because facial features are already asymmetrical to begin with. The first week I looked like Cleopatra but once the stitches came out, the swelling and discoloration went down really fast. By the second week no one could tell I had surgery. The result is natural and made me very happy... still. I hope you end up happy, too.
