Breast implants: did they make your life better or worse?
Everywhere in the media it seems that everyone needs to have the 'perfect' body and one of the ways is to get cosmetic surgery, including implants. I can see where liposuction is usefull, but implants? I don't think so. I mean; Why? My real curiosity is for women who actually had them (or you know of someone who had them): Did your life become better after getting a larger chest (more dates, more s*x, more compliments, better job, more recognition at work), or did it make your life worse off (backaches, perverts stalking you, guys only wanting s*x, shirts that won't fit, other women getting jealous) ?? Is it true that women get implants in order to impress other women, and not the men it their life. That women dress up and wear makeup because it is competition with other women, not an attempt to get attention from men. Could this be the real reason women are getting implants? Whatever the case, please let me know if your life changed for the better or worse afterwards.

- I heard they are a cosmetic "thing" to make a woman feel more feminie/ confident about themselves. I also heard that its like having a pair of cement rocks on your chest .
- Yes, my life definitely changed! Some good - some bad! Definitely more attention, more sex, better job and higher pay. But the women are jealous. I don't care what others say, men love big boobs - natural - implants - it doesn't matter, they just love them! I got them for myself, shirts don't fit! PS - they are not all hard as rocks, no one know I have them, because they are so soft and very natural. I LOVE MY BOOBS!
- my aunt had breast implants not sure how long later but one popped, she needed to have surgery, then after one popped one breast was larger than the other so she had to stuff the one she popped for a couple years then, the other one pops, like 5 months ago, and she needed more surgery! i don't think people should get them, its gross.

- I didn't get mine to impress anyone. The main reason that I got them was to have the freedom to wear whatever I wanted which you cannot do if you don't even fill out an A cup. Also I nursed 2 kids and they were not only small but deflated. I wasn't comfortable with my husband touching or looking at them pre-op. I have always been an above average looking woman so woman aren't any meaner to me now than they have ever been. I did get a very modest size (C cup) so most strangers assume they are real and I had a very good surgeon so they look and feel very natural. I definately don't regret my decision to have them done. However I don't feel that they have had any impact on my life as far as making it better or worse, I'm just happier with my body. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist in that area, I am really into nutrition and weightlifting.
