Plastic Surgery: Good or Bad?

Everyone has there on views on plastic surgery, but would you personally go for changing your body?

5. No. I've worked hard to get these lumps,bumps and wrinkles, they're part of me thats here to stay probably. But I wouldn't knock anyone who does go for it

11. my nose if i was rich, but i am lucky as i would only need a very small nose job. So no i wouldn't go out of my way to save for surgery or anything like that.

13. Bad, have you seen Cher, Joan Rivers, Donnatella Versace, Mickey Rourke and Patrick Swayze. They look horrendous

15. Plastic surgery is bad, coz it has multiple side effects that people would only notice after 25 years!

18. Good if it's for a good reason, ie someone has a scar, broken nose etc otherwise we should be happy with what we have

20. I wouldn't change my body. But i would probably get Botox Injections or something like that. So its not a long and painful precudure, something quick and easy and HELPFUL!

22. I think it's fine if it's used for stuff like facial reconstruction after an accident, or to correct deformities, and for women who have lost one of their breasts because of cancer. I don't agree with people having it for their own vanity though. There are people in this world who can't even afford to eat, and these people will quite happily spend thousands of pounds on boob jobs, it's completely selfish!
23. The only case I would have a plastic surgery, would be after a really big accident in which my face would totally destroyed...I don't even want to think about it!
24. I don't care. Unless you really need it. Like on the Discovery channel, this lady was shot in the head by her boyfriend, and she had plastic surgery. If you just want big tits, then it's a dumb thing to do. But, whatever floats your goat.
25. no coz I'm no looker and some one loves me, I'm not bothered about my looks its about the person inside, but saying that i look normal i don't stand out, if i had a accident where my face was burnt or badly messed up, yes id want plastic surgery to have a normal life why not. its not the plastic surgery that's bad its some of the reasons why its used. all these old bags that have face lifts in my view don't look any better
26. I think it's good for those who need it to return to a normal life like women who have had a breast removed because of breast cancer, or someone who was disfigured in an accident. But I think that some people are just too casual about it anymore and that people are just not confident enough to live with themselves being not "perfect" anymore. Once we start accepting ourselves as ourselves and not trying to be someone else we'll be able to get over the need to change our appearances so drastically.

33. no. you might have an idea in your head what you want to look like but the outcome might be different. imagine not liking the results, horrifying!
34. that will depend with your purpose, if it's a way of enhancing your God-given beauty and features then I don't think it's bad since it does serve a good purpose but having plastic surgery just for the sake of looking like your favorite moviestar or merely just spending money then I guess the real purpose of it is being defeated. I personally don't see it as a bad thing if only people will really know when to stop and be contended of how they look.I would certainly go through over it again and see more improvements in my body. I had my shares of experiences before and I could tell it's painful,expensive and there's the healing process wherein i felt so depressed looking at my horrible face or the tightening of my skin in my chest from breast implant. I could see myself in few months with more alterations and i will do it in my belief that it is the only way to enhance my body right now. i'll only count the ways to be beautiful and that journey is never an easy one. Plastic surgery is a big thing and it might change your life for the better or sometimes gives another problem esp. if the surgeon chosen is not a good one.
35. Bad for your body and good for your soul - you will become more self-confident but your body will suffer. I will never do that again.
36. When i'm older, if i'm rich and desperatly want something changed about I would, but would stop at one or two things. I think plastic surgery can look good but you have to know when to stop
