Public Comments

  1. Not many guys like big fake boobies. I see chicks with so much plastic surgry that they look like they had halloween mask on.
  2. i think they are stupid
  3. There are definitely things I would love to change about myself but plastic surgery scares me.
  4. I think most breast augmentation looks whacked. That huge gap between is freakish!
  5. best thing next to cereal
  6. depends on what kind of plastic they use.
  7. When used to restore damage from injury or disease, entirely justified. Otherwise, only "maybe".
  8. Cosmetic....Plastic Surgery ..... IS FOR THOSE OF.... ... " low " Self Esteem! Thanks, RR
  9. It's good for accident victims, or others who have been disfigured in some way. But I think it's nothing but a sign of low self esteem if you do it just for cosmetic reasons. We all have flaws - it makes us interesting, and accentuates our good points.
  10. Be your natural self. Its much more beautiful ;O)
  11. ilk! gross!
  12. i got plastic surgery on my kneen and i was playing rugby and the stitches came lose and now i have a big scar on my knee
  13. guys dont like fake people, they like their girl natural i think plastic surgery is lame its sooo obvious
  14. Well I think if it will make people happier, go for it. Life's too short to be depressed and unhappy about something fixable (even if it is only a problem to them) I personally would never have anything done, but to each their own. I think the people on that E show have Body Dysmorphic Disorder though (I saw it too)
  15. Plastic Surgery is okay if you don't get obssesed and take an overdose of it. At least in my opinion. If people want to be fake, let them be. It's not our decision on how people want to look. So if they wanna change the tiniest flaw, let them. It's not our precious money that they're using, is it?
  16. i think it's just retarded. people need to learn to be happy with themselves! i mean i can totes understand having something reconstructive done, like if someone was in an accident, or if they were born with something like a cleft lip, or if some thing's wrong with their nose and it impairs their breathing, but otherwise it's just unnecessary and stupid
  17. Cracka and Juana Carlos should get it so they can look like the people they're obsessed with.
  18. I think if it makes the person feel better about themselves I'm all for it. I know i'd have a few things done if I could afford it, but my money goes to survival expenses and helping others who really need it. Good question. : )
  19. Well it all depends. My cousin got a breast reduction and her personality changed from day to night. She's so much more sociable and is happy all the time. Sometimes people really do need to change something physically to change them emotionally. It's unfortunate but true. So, to each his own.
  20. My view is that I think I need some! But sadly can't afford it. Some people do go overboard though. I think we value youth a little too much in this country. If you want to see a bunch of plastic surgery freaks, watch the local news in L.A. Some of those local news women don't even resemble humans any more. I found it quite frightening.
  21. Well, I personally think that there has to be a limit. People look so scary when they get EVERYTHING done. They actually get addicted which is sick. There are people that just feel bad about something and feel that plastic surgery will help them feel better....as in a nose, boobs, etc. That's cool too! But there definitely has to be a limit.
  22. it should be against the law. It is not right to tamper with ur natural looks. Does people not know it is what is on the inside that counts.
  23. From the comments that I've heard from mammographists, I would never do a boob job. My husband will just have to be happy with what's there! However, I can see where it would be nice to look younger--look at Barbara Walters! Why shouldn't women try to take advantage of technology and laser surgery. I would like to have a "nose" job. It's kind of sad though that society dictates how we should look--most of us are not really comfortable with ourselves. We always want to look like one of the super models. That's what TV and all the magazines throws at us. The plastic surgeons must love it.
  24. it's about trust in themselfs im not perfect i don't have big boobies no big lips no big butt but i look sexy & beautiful in general & i have tons of guys running after me & my bf loves me & loves how iam (even girls likes me) all this give me trust in myself & NEVER think about having a plastic surgery plus it's unhealthy
  25. Honestly, I think it's sad. What does it say about your soul and spirit if you can't except your body? You know, I've been watching this show on TLC called Little People Big World. It follows this family of little people (dwarfs). They have manged to make a beautiful life for themselves and their children and have a tremendous sense of self -acceptance and confidence. I think it's outrageous that a woman can't accept the fact that she has small breasts, but these people can accept the fact that they are small and have major health issues. Take Ashlee Simpson: She was a beautiful girl to begin with. Her face wasn't cookie cutter pretty, but it was what made her interesting to look at. Her face had character. Now she looks like any average pretty white girl, and you wouldn't notice her if she walked past you on the street. And she did all this after having been on the cover of Marie Claire magazine talking about self-acceptance! I stood by her though the whole lip-syncing debacle, but when she screwed with her face I stopped being a fan. She showed what a big fat hypocrite she was. It's a shame that girls look up to her.
  26. You won't find a more avid proponent of reconstructive surgery but vanity is another matter. If I survived an accident that tore off my nose, an ear and half my jaw, I would embrace the surgery that promised to make me look human again. I would never go under general anesthetic to have the bags under my eyes or my double chin fixed. I have been in surgery more times than I like and in every case it has been medical necessity. I think I'll continue on that road.
  27. I don't agree with it just for "cosmetic" reasons. I feel society making people feel bad about how they look one way or another is making some people tons and tons of money
  28. I dont agree with plastic surgery
  29. I've always thought that if a fix here or there would make a person happy, and if he/she wanted the surgery then they should just go ahead and do it. There's also the case as with reconstructive surgery from an accident or health-related surgeries such as liposuction for those too overweight or even females with back problems because of too heavy a bust. In those cases, I think plastic surgery is fine. It's fine for those in a healthy state of mind who don't want to completely reconstruct half their face/half of themselves....a fourth of themselves... This is hard to explain but I think one or two is okay. I think if a perfectly seemingly healthy-appearing person with no deformities or like said, health issues, etc. wants to go beyond two to four procedures then you kind of have to question what's going on in the patient's mind. Plastic surgeons need to stop somewhere! Such a shame that many continue on with such patients for the $$$. As for cosmetic stuff, I do think collagen injections to the lips and botox are kind of ridiculous. Collagen-injected lips are always obvious and botox ... well, botox doesn't make anyone look any younger, in my opinion. A botox-injected face looks either frozen or peculiar in some way.
