Center Cosmetic Surgery

Need more info/feedback on a plastic surgeon?

I'm having surgery later this year to correct a deviated septum, remove polyps from my nose and sinuses and also cosmetically reduce the size of my nose. I've met with my surgeon twice and checked his references online. He's board certified and has all the proper academic credentials. He also showed me a before and after photo of one of his other patients who had similar surgery. But I feel like I need to do more research or get some more info before I go under the knife with this guy. Any advice/suggestions on what more to ask or look for? LOL, thanks for the compliment (pixiechix), but this IS a medically necessary operation. When you have buildup like this in your nose and sinuses, you have allergy-like symptoms 24/7. It's a drag. And the cosmetic part is something that I've wanted for quite awhile.

  1. Ask him for references, ask him how many rhinoplasties he has performed? any complications? when you can go back to work/ resume regular activities?
  2. I don't know about any of your questions, but unless it is surgically necessary I wouldn't change a thing. You look pretty HOT to me!
  3. There are lots of complications in that kind of surgery, check this out: "There are general risks like in every surgery, such as: infections and bleedings. Most surgeries are successful and with no complications. Some times there is a very small correction that is needed; the correction will be performed minimum 6 month after the surgery.
