sex change operations a fake, like cosmetic surgery?

I read this comment recently, inplying that a sex change operation, in reality, is not what it implies. " Real sex change does not exist! A man will still have the inner personality of a man, and his body will not react the same way as a woman's body does to foreplay, relaxation, etc. Even if he takes away his body hair with laser, even if he takes in hormones to soften his muscles and to grow breasts (which by the way will be just fat, not real breasts with milk ducts inside) and even if he has his penis and scrotum cut off, and part of it re-arranged to resemble a vulva, and even it they create a hole in between his legs, it's not a real vagina that lubricates and has a G-spot, leads to a womb and ovaries,etc, Any comments on this, ?

The surgery is somewhat cosmetic in that a neo-vagina is created by inverting the penis and creating a vaginal cavity, however with today's procedures they look and feel the same as biological vaginas. Depending on the medical technique, lubrication will happen. It's true there is no womb, but no one has said there was. 2. Personality of a man: this is rather insulting because no one else can tell me what goes on in my mind. My personality is female, which is the REASON I am transsexual. My mind doesn't match my body. Another assumption based on total ignorance. 4. My breasts are real breasts. They have milk ducts and are fully capable of producing milk. The reason they don't is only due to the fact I'm not pregnant. Milk producing hormones are released during pregnancy which cause milk production to start. If I were to take those hormones, I would have milk production. You are totally ignorant with regards to human biology. Men and women both have breasts. Before puberty, they are identical. 5. This isn't about a "sex change", which itself is a retarded phrase. I am not changing my sex. I am changing my external appearance so that I can be accepted by society as female. Of course I know I can never change my biological sex. I'm not stupid. My mind identifies as female and transition is nothing more than a medical treatment to alleviate feelings of gender dysphoria, because it's not possible to change what gender the brain identifies as.That's all there is to transition. It's really not very complicated. 6. Lastly, your comment seems to focus 100% on sex and genitals as being the definition of one's gender. This illustrates how little you know about gender. Gender is not defined by having sex, how you have sex, and what's between your legs. Your gender is inside your brain. Do you really think I'm going through all this trouble just to satisfy some sexual desire? If you think that then you're a jerk. This is not some sexual fantasy. This is about being allowed to simply live my life as female. ------ I think these opinions are really yours. 7. They are IGNORANT. Just look at some of the people who have repliued here to this question. IGNORANT. JFunk: Chromosomes don't determine sex. There are women who are XY (CAIS) and there are men who are XX. And there are also many other variations! So when you harp about chromosomes you sound IGNORANT. When it comes to this subject I swear peoples brains turn off. Just mention the word "transsexual" and watch as their brain cramps up. It's true! 95% of cisgendered folks can't deal with it. And we who were born transsexual and have had to become experts in sex/gender by necessity are IGNORED because we threaten their perfect little world views. 10. whoever wrote that was right on. " sex change operations" are not a sex change at all. In both cases ftm and mtf the sex organs are removed by unethical surgeons and the body manipulated with hormones but it does not inany way change a persons, sex. As a matter of fact many transexuals "become lesbians" after their operations as they find that they really were attrracted to women again. and a further 7% commit suicide when they find that they are still not women after going through the painful surgeries. Sex change operations are one of the worst scams on the face of the earth ruining the lives and mutilating the bodies of those who are victimized by the scam.

I would nicely comment that sex change surgery is not a fake one and you really have no idea about transsexualism, know that in the sex change operation the penis isn´t just cut but reversed in the inside and all nerves remain there. After sex change surgery we can have orgasms and that´s GOOD ;-) The breasts are real due to the hormone therapy and yes have real milk ducts ;-) Ah yes it´s a very erogenous zone once you have it...

But men don't have this surgery; transsexual women do, and we have the 'inner personality' of a woman, both before, during and after. Breasts grown by hormone therapy are identical to breasts grown with endogenous hormones; they have ducts and tubules. A vagina created by surgery is visually and functionally identical to one developed from birth; it is sensate, orgasmic, and (once healed) self-lubricates to a greater or lesser degree (as do everyone else's). It does not lead to a womb and ovaries; but that's also true of about 35% of other women over 35. Medical research has shown that, after 5-10 years, the tissues of a transsexual woman's vagina are indistinguishable from the tissues of any other woman's vagina, even under microscopic examination. Anyone who believes that this surgery is 'purely cosmetic' presumably also believes that repairing a harelip, or a clubfoot, is also 'purely cosmetic'. They're all done for the same purpose; to correct a congenital condition, and none of them are (technically) essential to survival. [Oh, and "snotalie"; transsexual women, like any other women, don't 'become' lesbian; around 40% of transwomen ARE lesbian, before and after treatment. The suicide rate for transsexual women, post-treatment, is 1-2%; exactly the same as the suicide rate for the population in general. And I've never met a transsexual woman who considered her treatment had 'ruined her life' or 'mutilated her body' (and believe me, I've met a LOT more transwomen than you have).
