What is done with the extra skin that is removed in some plastic surgery procedures?
Do the doctors just throw away the extra skin that's cut away in some plastic surgery procedures (like tummy tucks, etc.) or do they save it to use on other patients for other procedures?

- depends on the doc office, many of it is probably disposed of, but it is possible that it can be donated, you know, like organ donors.
- brad pitt takes it home and boiles it down to make soap, then he sells it to high-end department stores......duh, everyone knows that
- in some cases it's put into a type of bank for burn victims
- They use it to insulate houses or sometimes they use it in school dinners.
