What to do if your face is similar to psychopath Cho? Do I need to get plastic surgery?

It is so expensive to have plastic surgery. I am very disappointed with the action of Cho. Because of him, I have a hard time now to live my life. Do you think Cho hated Asians? He did the killing and destroyed the name of Korean specifically and Asian in general.

Public Comments

  1. No, that's taking it a little too much to the extreme. Plastic surgery is unnecessary. It doesn't matter if you look like him as long as you don't act like him.
  2. NO! This too shall pass and Cho will be just a sad memory. I feel pity for him because he was a very sick person. I think he targeted no one in particular. Do not rush into surgery. Maybe you could change your hairstyle. It's easy and temporary and can make a big difference in your appearance.
  3. He didn't destroy anything concerning the Asian community. Every culture has it's share of low life forms that appear on the surface to be of the human species but are not. I haven't felt any animosity towards anyone of Asian descent. People who would consider it would be part of the low life forms that unfortunately float around this planet impersonating humans. There are some really wonderful Asian people.
  4. Because you are Asian, you feel that Cho dishonored Asians. A non-Asian person will not have that same conclusion. A non-Asian person will blame Cho Seung-hui *and only* Cho Seung-hui. A non-Asian person will not blame Margaret Cho (the comedian) or Cho's sister, mother, father, aunt, grandparents all of whom have made statements. A non-Asian person might put some blame on the Virginia Tech University campus police (public safety) or mental health department for not taking stronger action in 2005. A non-Asian person might put some blame on V-Tech university officials for not doing more on the morning of the shooting. But a non-Asian person will not blame Asians just be Cho Seung-hui who was Asian (Korean) did horrible things. Most people who get plastic surgery perceive that they will be more beautiful or more liked because of their appearance. However, it is the personality of the person that is usually the reason that others like or dislike them. If you want to become more likable, then read the book, "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. An outline of what is contained in the book includes: Fundamental Techniques in Handling People: "Don't criticize, condemn or complain." "Give people a feeling of importance; praise the good parts of them." "Get the other person to want to do what you want them to by arousing their desires." Six Ways to Make People Like You: "Become genuinely interested in other people." "Smile." "Remember that a man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language." "Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves." "Talk in the terms of the other man's interest." "Make the other person feel important and do it sincerely." Twelve Ways to Win People to Your Way of Thinking: "Avoid arguments." "Show respect for the other person's opinions. Never tell someone they are wrong." "If you're wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically." "Begin in a friendly way." "Start with questions the other person will answer yes to. "Let the other person do the talking." "Let the other person feel the idea is his/hers." "Try honestly to see things from the other person's point of view." "Sympathize with the other person." "Appeal to noble motives." "Dramatize your ideas." "Throw down a challenge." Nine Ways to Change People Without Giving Offense or Arousing Resentment: "Begin with praise and honest appreciation." "Call attention to other people's mistakes indirectly." "Talk about your own mistakes first." "Ask questions instead of giving direct orders." "Let the other person save face." "Praise every improvement." "Give them a fine reputation to live up to." "Encourage them by making their faults seem easy to correct." "Make the other person happy about doing what you suggest." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_to_Win_Friends_and_Influence_People.
  5. No, don't do it. Everyone knows he is dead. And for another thing, I don't think he hated Asians. He was Asian, those who he killed was Asian. I don't think that he knew what kind of racist comments would be up against Koreans after his death. And you know what? That's understandable if he didn't know, because these comments against Koreans have no sense behind them and are completely bullshit. I mean, after all, who in the right mind would insult all of one race because of one man's actions who didn't even live his entire life in that country?
  6. Get brain surgery instead. I've read what you have written and you are trying to stir up racial hatred by claiming it exists where there is none. If someone threatens or attacks you, the police will prosecute them, and odds are the cop who helps you will be white and not be a racist.
