2. for some people, the possible side effects are less important than a positive end result of the surgery.
3. I would love plastic surgery want my breasts put back where they were when I was 20 and I want a bit of botox and maybe some lipo chemical peel and what the heck a nose job too. Side effects? what would those be? aside from being gorgeous?

5. Appearance and self confidence come to mind. They also may have worked very hard to lose weight and have an excess amount of skin. To still be able to feel good they may have a desire to remove the stretched out portion that is no longer needed. They may have scars from an injury they would like to not have to look at everyday. Cosmetic surgery is not just about vanity.
6. Being butt ugly comes to mind.
7. i think some people get cosmetic surgery because of birth defects or disfiguration from accidents. this is understandable and i would probably do the same. but people who get cosmetic surgery just because they are bored with their body, need to make sure they do the research and know the risks involved. surgery isnt a pasttime, it is a major thing and shouldnt be gone into lightly. just my opinion.
