Why does cosmetic surgery cost so much?
It makes it impossible for the average person to get it! And some people really do need it...exercise can't help stretched out muscles, and only surgery can reverse gravity's effects. Why does it have to cost so much??

- Because in most cases it's considered elective surgery. Most insurances only pay part, if any. But the doctors still have all the costs, like anesthesia, insurance for themselves, sanitizing equipment. Surgery is expensive, and in cosmetic surgery, the consumer is paying most of what insurance normally pays.
- Cosmetic surgery is not needed for any medical reasons. And it is not covered by insurance
