  1. sounds like you are after a tummy tuck, different doctors charge different fees, best thing to do is call around, also do research on the doctors!!
  2. That above answer is very true, different drs., different costs. get referrals................it's worth it, also a 'good' dr. with a good reputation, will give you the names of people they have preformed the surgery on, and please call them............
  3. Plastic surgery costs do vary according to type and your location. Some people travel to other countries so it won't cost as much. If you want to do it on a budget, medical vacations are now big business. But hey, you might be able to avoid surgery or drastic surgery while losing your weight. Especially if you've ever seen plastic surgery gone wrong, you might really want to avoid it, if at all possible. 50 lbs is a lot, but you'd be surprised at what you can accomplish in terms of keeping your skin smooth and taut DURING the process so you won't need surgery later. Look into techniques that help the body break down cellulite and compress the tissue so that the now-emptied cells stick together again closer together than they were before. Detoxing will help you keep the weight off later, too. In fact, most healing and beautifying regimes have a detox component. Bodywrapping is a fabulous way to do this. I'd guess that 2 wraps per week during your weight loss should do the trick quite nicely. Depending on where you live, a full-body wrap might vary, but I've seen $80/full body wrap as an average. This technique helps pull debris and fat from the cells while compressing the tissue so that it readheres tighter and tauter, and that is why they result in dramatic inch loss, time and time again. They almost always have skin conditioning treatments available to help with the stretch mark problem, too. You can learn to do it yourself, and there's an ebook online that tells how to do it and where to buy the ingredients to make your own. For the price of 1-2 wraps, you can assemble enough ingredients to do a WHOLE LOT of wraps on yourself, depending on your body size and how sophisticated your recipes are. And you can also save money AND TIME by purchasing pre-made wrap recipes along with your bandages, etc. You have to understand that just because herbs pull fat into circulation, that doesn't mean it goes away. You still have to diet, avoid caffeine, exercise, or it will simply plant itself somewhere else on your body. Avoiding caffeine, drinking water, and keeping up an exercise routine ensures your success. Eating foods that heal vs hurt your collagen and skin-building abilities will go a long way to keeping your skin pretty. Cucumbers are rich in skin-beautifying minerals, for example. Eat plenty of them! I can't really address that whole topic, here, If you receive email from people in answers, I can email you some titles of resources you might not have heard about in this area. Rebounding on a safe rebounder is another excellent way to detox and exercise every part of your body, which will also help with getting nutrients to every part of your skin while toning every single muscle in your body, including that stuff right under your skin. I only recommend Bellicon, Cellerciser, certain Needaks as definitely safe rebounders. The others are not only a possible waste of money, they are possibly as bad a jumping on concrete for the damage they can do to you. But SAFE rebounding is AMAZING. Far Infrared Saunas are detoxifiers, can burn like 600 calories an hour, and bring a lot of blood to the surface of the skin. I and many other women have found that our skin is softer and has better tone since we have started doing this regularly, even the soles of our feet are softer. This kind of treatment can only help the process of normalizing skin during weight loss. Rashelle Haines has an exercise program AND sells a cream that she claims doesn't have to have compression to have results (tho I assume that it would work better WITH compression). Her exercise program, which combines simple isometrics and/or reflexology with a breathing technique, is very energizing, oxygenating, detoxifying and SLIMMING. She added the product line of bodywrap-type skin care things so people could have the very best results. Some people have found that, with a raw food lifestyle, they can lose weight and not have the flabby skin at the end of it. If you are up to that, you might want to go for it. I think the secret to success lies in the detoxifying nature of the diet, combined with eating nutrient-dense, especially mineral-dense, foods. I once lost 30 lbs doing this and didn't have any sign of increased skin sag. I had the opportunity to visit with a woman who happens to be a doctor and who has been losing weight and preventing skin sag by using endermologie and some form of laser skin treatment, and I got to see before-afters of her (and she showed me her belly, too), and many others. She feels that it is more effective and easier (less messy! less time consuming!) than doing body wrapping, though she appreciates the benefits of bodywrapping, too. That's expensive, though. A package of 10 sessions cost around 1200-1500 US dollars, something like that. But CHEAPER than surgery and much, much safer. I can't find a useful website on that right now, but if you want me to call her to get some better info on it, I'd be happy to email some to you, you could see if it was available in your area. Some people are also using seaweed soaps, as seaweed is a common ingredient in many bodywraps. Last thing to mention, and this one some people consider to be "way out in left field," and that is Hcg treatment. I haven't done it, but I'd be very, very interested in doing it someday. You can read about it in Kevin Trudeau's book, the title is something like "The Weight Loss Cure THEY don't want you to know about." Wow. He gives the history about the doctor that discovered and developed this approach. It has been around a LONG time, and doesn't appear to have any side effects in its long history. It is banned in the US, but is perfectly acceptable in Europe, South America, many other places. (Though some people have managed to find people to provide it to them here.) What impressed me was that there are two kinds of fat. Typical dieting causes us to lose the fat that leaves us looking gaunt and with extra folds of skin flying around. The Hcg technique targets another kind of fat, and leaves people looking proportional and attractive. The doctor that developed it found that it even worked to "redistribute" fat on thin, over-fat people, i.e., people with fat in the wrong places, but who weren't huge. Sounds like it works. And lots of testimonials. It isn't easy, though. You have stay on an extremely restrictive diet and not put any oily lotions on your skin at all while you are losing. The Hcg causes your body to release a huge amount of fat as energy every day, so if you add any fat to the diet, you probably won't be able to burn what is released and whatever is left over will turn back to fat. You have to go abroad to get either the injectable kind or the recently developed oral kind. Or so I hear. The folks selling the oral stuff in Brazil claim that theirs works for sure, and that other companies selling stuff that claims to be the same thing may not work. Anyway, it is a bit "out in left field" as I said, but it's always nice to know your options, I always say.
  4. Plastic surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America. Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. http://www.tour2india4health.com Hope this helps.
