Does it cost anything to have just a consultation for plastic surgery?
If you meet with a plastic surgeron to discuss potential procedures, does that usually cost anything? Or when you have the consultation, have you already at that point committed to paying the high amount they want?

- I had plastic surgery done a year ago here in my home town of Houston and I went to 2 doctors before choosing and there was not cost for the consultation. I had lipo and a chin implant.
- Yes, it should cost something, because the plastic surgeon should be analyzing you for psychological suitibility (will you like the result or sue if it is not perfect) and be able to tell you what can't and can't be done. You should be free to walk away and he/she should be paid for the time spent with you.
